John Ashworth Linksoul: Revolving the Golf Apparels

“The role of father influences the character of the child,” as the interests and likings pass down the generations, John Ashworth’s father’s craze for golf inspired him to start LinkSoul. Built on the virtues of golf- sportsmanship, and respect, it has become a leading brand for golf accessories.

John was born in a simple family, and his tryst with golf started when he was 8 or 9 years old. With age and maturity, John with his partner Jerry Montiel decided to start afresh clothing line for the golfer, as John with his keen eyes felt that they were too old-fashioned to be continued. The company was officially founded in 2010, sponsoring both athletic professional players as well as those who seem to want to just relax and wind down. Just like all entrepreneurs, the duo also faced quite a bit of difficulties to set it up and get the works going but in the end, their perseverance proved to be fruitful, and they established a foothold in the apparel industry in golf and went on to expand themselves. Being a golf-lover himself, John has contributed greatly to the sport as well, mainly fighting and restoring the Goat Hill Park with his buddies.

John’s motto of the brand is to “make golf cool once again” so that this relaxing and refreshing game could be enjoyed by many. The company currently sponsors Fred Couples, Justin Rose, Sean O’Hair, Justin Leonard, Ryan Palmer, Rory Sabbatini, and Johnson Wagner.
