
Microsoft Launches Agriculture-based Program to Accelerate Agritech Startups in India
Tech giant Microsoft has announced the launch of a program for Agri-tech startups in India. The program is planned with an intention to help startups and grow access to deep learning, business, and marketing resources. Sangeeta Bhavi, Director, Startup Ecosystem, Microsoft India, asserts that agritech startups are noticing key challenges connected to food production. Furthermore, the agritech startups program offers business enablement resources to help the agritech startup scale and innovate. At present, India is focusing on the transformation of agriculture by building digital solutions to increase productivity, improve market linkages, and offer greater access to agritech businesses.
